    Stonington Public Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. 

    POSITION: Speech and Language Pathologist
    SCHOOL:  Stonington Public Schools
    START DATE: July 1, 2026    

    REMUNERATION: Stonington Education Association 
    QUALIFICATIONS: 
    CT Certification Required - 061 Speech and Language Pathologist
    Preference to candidates with early childhood experience; however, candidates must be willing to treat students within a variety of age ranges
    Excellent communication, both written and verbal
    Understand the developmental expectations for students of different ages
    Understand the assessments and aptitude tests and possess the ability to properly interpret the results.
    Maintain and utilize superior interpersonal skills with persons of all ages and across diverse backgrounds.
    Experience with AAC systems and a variety of service models 
    Strong willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

    POSITION DETAILS: School Assignment/Location for this position is TBD.

    The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech/Language Pathologist must work closely with the staff and administration of the cooperative and school district.
