Your Career
The Account Executive reports to and supports the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for generating and facilitating the closing of new business across a range of customer segments. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, with increasing ownership of deal execution over time.
You will work closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and leadership to position solutions effectively and win new customers. This is an ideal role for an early-career seller looking to grow into a full Account Executive role in a SaaS or telecom environment.
Your Impact
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, targeted outreach, and inbound follow-up
- Qualify and progress opportunities through early and mid-stage sales funnel (discovery → proposal support)
- Support later-stage deal execution (negotiation, contracting) in partnership with senior team members as needed
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to support revenue targets
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Product for demos, technical validation, and solution alignment
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Maintain accurate CRM data (pipeline, activity, forecasting)
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with Marketing on outreach campaigns and messaging feedback
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience through responsive communication and professional engagement
Your Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 3-5 years of experience in SaaS, telecommunications, technology sales, business development, SDR/BDR, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience contributing to pipeline generation and supporting deal execution
- Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Exposure to wireless, telecommunications, or networking technologies (e.g., CBRS, 5G, Wi-Fi, RAN)
Preferred:
- Experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation
- Experience working in a growth-stage or startup environment
- Experience collaborating with technical teams (e.g., Sales Engineering)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)

Schedule
Standard business hours with flexibility to support customer needs.
Location
Onsite in our Arlington, VA office 5 days per week.
Travel Requirement
Up to 25% travel for customer meetings and events.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting in either an open-plan office with potential for consistent noise and interruptions, or in a private office. Conditions are usually standard office lighting and moderate temperature ranges.
Physical Demands
Sitting for prolonged periods of time; driving, and ability to travel by air, vehicle, or rail; pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Compensation
The on-target earnings for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, with a base salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, and may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, Federated Wireless considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
