Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and research-savvy Paralegal to assist in compiling
comprehensive data on continuing education (CE) requirements for pharmacist and
pharmacy technician licenses across the United States. The Paralegal will ensure
accurate and up-to-date information by reviewing primary sources such as state board
websites, statutes, and administrative codes.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Data Collection:
● Analyze and document CE requirements for pharmacist and pharmacy technician
licenses in all U.S. states.
● Gather information on the following for each license:
● Number of required CE hours, including specific areas of practice.
● Deadlines for completing CE requirements.
● Rules for carrying over excess CE hours into subsequent renewal periods.
● Exemptions to CE requirements and related criteria.
● Relevant statutes or administrative rules governing CE requirements.
● Notes or additional pertinent details.

Compliance Documentation:
● Maintain accurate and organized records of research findings in a pre-designed
spreadsheet.
● Ensure all findings are supported by primary sources, including board websites,
legal statutes, or administrative codes.

Quality Assurance and Communication:
● Verify the accuracy and relevance of the data collected.
● Provide clear explanations and documentation for any areas of uncertainty by
leaving comments in the shared document for review.
● Collaborate with the team to address questions or discrepancies in the research.

Qualifications:
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.

Experience:
● 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal research role.
● Familiarity with legal research methods, including reviewing statutes and
administrative rules.

Skills and Competencies:
● Strong research and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
● Proficiency in using online legal research tools and government websites.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to organize and present complex information clearly and concisely.
● Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for data entry and management.
