The Director, Influencer Marketing, will provide strategic leadership in fostering relationships with creators, influencers, and social media platforms to empower them to build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize their experiences through our content and services. The role operates at the intersection of games, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure, community, and innovation, driving impactful initiatives to elevate our brand, expand product capabilities, and deliver measurable outcomes.

This position focuses on fostering long-term partnerships, refining content strategies, and driving innovative product initiatives while addressing platform growth and optimization challenges, including trust & safety, community development, and digital economies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive strategic initiatives that empower creators to build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize their experiences using innovative tools and services.

  • Operate at the intersection of games, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure, community, and innovation, ensuring alignment across these domains.

  • Develop and implement an influencer and creator engagement strategy aligned with our portfolio of IPs, business objectives and market trends.

Creator Campaign Ownership and Innovation

  • Manage initiatives from concept through launch and iteration, including opportunity definition, prioritization, requirements gathering, launch planning, and post-launch analysis.

  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative inputs — including player and creator feedback, analytics, and market analysis — to inform prioritization and product decisions.

  • Identify opportunities and challenges across the creator ecosystem, including creation tools, publishing, moderation, discovery, operations, and monetization.

  • Improve existing platform and commerce capabilities while exploring new services, business models, and growth opportunities for the Creator ecosystem.

Social Media Platform Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts at social media platform partners (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, Twitch).

  • Collaborate with platform representatives to stay informed about their best practices, new product offerings, and evolving processes.

  • Ensure alignment between the company’s content strategy and new platform capabilities to maximize campaign effectiveness and platform growth.

Partnership Development

  • Identify and forge partnerships with top-tier creators and influencers, along with agency partners, across diverse platforms, focusing on authenticity and alignment with our IPs.

  • Evaluate and negotiate collaboration terms, contracts, and budgets to optimize ROI while adhering to compliance and organizational priorities.

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with creators to foster trust, continued collaboration, and mutual growth.

Campaign and Ecosystem Oversight

  • Lead large-scale creator and influencer marketing campaigns, including strategic planning, real-time execution, and performance analysis.

  • Facilitate collaboration between creators and internal teams to produce impactful content that drives engagement, revenue, and brand affinity.

  • Monitor and refine tools, workflows, and processes for campaign management to improve operational efficiency.

Team Leadership and Education

  • Mentor and enable the professional development of the influencer engagement team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.

  • Work as a team player, educator, and facilitator with marketing, community, communications and studio developers to drive understanding and engagement within the creator ecosystem.

  • Provide platform and influencer marketing expertise to stakeholders across the company, reinforcing alignment and synergy across initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Establish and track KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and creator ecosystem growth metrics.

  • Leverage data, feedback, and insights to optimize strategies, refine product offerings, and enhance campaign performance.

  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to summarize campaign performance, platform growth, and ROI for executive stakeholders.

  • Other responsibilities are performed as assigned or needed.
