Comprehensive EyeCare Partners (Comp Eye) is in search of motivated, self-driven and team orientated Certified Nurse Assistants who are looking to break into the ophthalmology field. In this exciting role as an Ophthalmic Technician, Comp Eye will train you to perform specialized data collection functions and test as delegated by physicians to allow for proper professional diagnosis and treatment of patients’ conditions. This role typically works a Monday thru Friday, daytime schedule.

As an Ophthalmic Technician with Comp Eye, some of your responsibilities will include:

  •    
  • Collecting patient specific information to ensure proper treatment and follow-up.     
  • Provides telephone support regarding prescription refills and patient care questions.     
  • Inputs accurate documentation in patient charts.     
  • Obtains and records patient’s preliminary case history including but not limited to chief complaint, present concerns, medical and surgical history and family history.

Requirements of this job include:

  •    
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).     
  • Some college preferred.     
  • Excellent computer skills. Ability to learn new software programs and hardware tasks and accurately ender data.     
  • Willing to travel between practices in the Las Vegas area.
