Position Overview



Wright Directions Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Administrative Staff member to join our Medication Management (MM) Program in our North Myrtle Beach office. This is an in-person role supporting a robust and fast-paced department that prioritizes rapid access to psychiatric medication appointments for children and adults across South Carolina.



This position works directly with prescribers to facilitate efficient scheduling, ensure continuity of care, maintain program compliance, and provide administrative and clinical support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative healthcare environment



 



Key Responsibilities




  • Serve patients by greeting and assisting them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts

  • Work directly with prescribers to support daily medication management operations

  • Ensure APRNs attend monthly supervision meetings

  • Ensure clients are scheduled for their next MM appointment to avoid interruptions in medications

  • Oversee APRN scheduling to maximize provider productivity

  • Support administrative staff as needed within the office

  • Operate in compliance with all applicable state and federal standards

  • Work closely with local pharmacies to provide administrative support and coordination of care

  • Complete medication prior authorizations in a timely manner

  • Track client annuals, consents, and treatment plans, and request provider updates as needed to maintain compliance





Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements




  • Familiarity with phone systems, electronic health records, and Excel

  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment

  • Previous experience with South Carolina Medicaid, CoverMyMeds, LabCorp, and client scheduling preferred
