A STIHL Mechanic/Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and sale of STIHL outdoor power equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other small engines. The role combines technical expertise with customer service, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition and customers receive accurate information.
Key Responsibilities

Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and fix malfunctions in STIHL products; perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, belts, and other components

Assembly & Sale: Assist in assembling and selling STIHL equipment to customers

Troubleshooting: Use diagrams, manuals, and engineering specs to identify and resolve issues; locate problem sources by observing equipment in operation

Customer Service: Provide repair estimates, answer questions, and educate customers on proper use and care of STIHL tools

Skills & Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in small engine repair

STIHL certification is preferred. However, training will be provided to if interested without having certification.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks

Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues

Physical ability to lift up to 40–60 pounds, use hand and power tools, and perform repetitive tasks

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
