- Assist with the instruction of Sailing Camp Level I and II.
- Help maintain, set up, and store sailing equipment.
- Follow safety protocol and assist campers in sailing safety.
- Assist with camper supervision and communication with parents.
- Minimum age of 16 years or older.
- Experience working with children.
- Previous sailing experience.
- Must be able to swim.
- Exposure to extreme summer temperatures and water.
- Lift 20-50 pounds independently. Lift 50-300 pounds as a group.
- Climb in and out of a small sailboat.
- Lift self from water into small sailboat without assistance.
- Pass criminal background check.
- Pass CPR and First Aid Training
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
