Join MGC's Insurance Coverage Litigation Team in NY!

MGC is an industry leading civil litigation firm celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2025 spanning 23 offices across 12 states.

We are seeking a partner-level attorney to join our Insurance Coverage Litigation team. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training/integration with the team.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage litigation. We offer competitive compensation with generous bonus opportunities. The annual salary range for this position is $95,000 – 250,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Must be licensed to practice in New York.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
  • Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
