Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the HVACR and Data Center industry segment. You will be responsible for driving significant improvements in sales performance, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction within the assigned market.

You will define and implement sales and marketing initiatives in line with the overall strategy, while proactively leading, developing, and coaching the marketing and sales team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create, implement, and review the HVACR and Data Center market development strategy at country level.

  • Ensure market strategies and business plans are aligned with the divisions’ overall strategy to achieve defined targets.

  • Understand segment, channel, and customer needs, identifying and developing new business opportunities.

  • Identify and drive the development of new market trends and growth opportunities within the designated market.

  • Ensure long-term market development by engaging all relevant stakeholders to promote ABB technical solutions and influence customer decision-making.

  • Support the organization in the execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer events, when required.

  • Use standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and monitor segment performance and progress.

  • Promote a customer-focused approach, raising awareness of market opportunities and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and develop new customers to generate growth.

  • Maintain close collaboration with relevant colleagues and company functions, both locally and globally.


Qualifications for the role

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in the HVACR industry.

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering, or in Economics or Management.

  • Solid knowledge of End Users, OEMs, and Consultants relevant to the HVACR market.

  • Strong understanding of HVACR applications and market sub-segments.

  • Strategic mindset with a strong customer focus.

  • Demonstrated personal leadership and strong results orientation.

  • Ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
