Job Description
Be the First Connection to Care – Join Us as an Admissions Counselor 
Schedule: Monday- Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm

As an Admissions Counselor, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking help, offering a calm and compassionate voice during moments of need. You’ll help guide callers through the admissions process, schedule assessments, and ensure referrals are routed to the appropriate services within our hospital.

This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and provide helpful, accurate information about hospital programs
  • Schedule assessments and coordinate referrals with clinical staff and outside agencies
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital programs and admissions procedures
  • Support quality improvement and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
  • Stay current with required training and continuing education, including CALM and CPR certifications

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High School/GED required
 Associates/Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in an office setting preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform essential job functions such as bending, lifting and transporting patients
