United States University is looking for experienced FNP Program Online Adjunct Faculty in CALIFORNIA to join the College of Nursing & Health Sciences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population.
- Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments.
- Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations.
- Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading.
- Empower students to learn and grow as advanced practice nurses through evidence-based feedback and guidance.
- Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies.
- Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning.
- Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies.
- Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours.
Education and Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an FNP
- DNP preferred
- Experience in evidence-based practice
- Online teaching experience preferred
- Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, Zoom
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Minimum Credentials
- Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
- APRN license (valid & unencumbered) in home state
- Willing to obtain other RN and/or APRN licenses based on program need
Required Licensure
- California RN, APRN, and furnishing (or willing to obtain)
- Compact RN license or CA RN license (If do not have multistate RN)
Preferred Licensure
- Nevada RN
- APRN license in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, or Washington
Adjunct Compensation
- Course contracts are paid semi-monthly and range from $150 - $3,500 depending on instruction level and student count.
