Summary


Leads transfer student recruitment, outreach and enrollment efforts that contribute to meeting the university’s strategic enrollment objectives

Essential Job Functions



  • Reviews and evaluates transfer applications, including academic transcripts and supporting materials to render admission decisions

  • Serves as the primary resource for prospective transfer students, delivering personalized advising on admissions requirements, transfer credit evaluation, academic pathways and the enrollment process

  • Represents the university at transfer fairs, on and off campus recruitment events and virtual programming

  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with community colleges, four-year institutions, academic advisors and community-based organizations to support transfer recruitment and enrollment

  • Provides guidance on the transfer credit evaluation process in collaboration with other academic departments and university offices

  • Collaborates with the university marketing team to develop targeted messaging for prospective transfer students

  • Participates in related professional development organizations representing the university

  • Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budget

  • Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development

  • Performs other duties as assigned


 


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree

  • Moderate amount of experience working in transfer admissions, recruitment management or other related experience 

  • Valid U.S. driver's license


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing or a related field of study

  • Experience with Slate CRM and the college transfer process
