Job Description

Job Title: Level II Maintenance Mechanic 

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (on-site)

Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift/Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:30pm-6:00am and Thursday 5:30pm-9:30pm

About the Role: Level II Maintenance Mechanic to keep our plastic manufacturing facility running at peak performance. In this role, you’ll handle everything from high-level troubleshooting to routine facility upkeep. The ideal candidate has a "fix-it-right" mindset and a strong background in injection molding or rotational plastics processing. 
Responsibilities:
  • Systems Repair: Troubleshoot, tune, and repair injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and cooling/water-tower systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute PM schedules and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurring equipment failures.
  • Technical Support: Use machining tools, welding, and fabrication to repair molds and facility infrastructure.
  • Production Partnership: Work closely with Technicians and Supervisors to ensure smooth machine start-ups and provide clear updates on equipment status.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Identify and correct safety hazards immediately. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all OSHA/company safety protocols.
  • Operational Flexibility: Manage daily tasks independently to maximize uptime and work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; Technical Certificate or 1+ years of related field experience preferred.
  •  Proven experience in a plastic manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficiency with multimeters (AC/DC/Ohm) and reading blueprints/schematics.
  • Intermediate experience with lathes, mills, and welding/fabrication.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical repair, and HVAC.
  • Familiarity with material drying and conveyance systems.
