Primary Purpose of the Position
• Take the responsibility of rolling forecast (both SOE and S&OP horizon) aligned with business strategies and sales policies to support profitability and volume targets of Commercial PBU by analyzing sales history, consolidating demand drivers, and evaluating future market dynamics with fact-based sales assumptions.
• Provide strong data analysis and insights related to business optimization during demand generation and planning process by using right data and adopting effective methodology like Machine learning, Demand Segmentation and Assumption-based planning etc. to drive business alignment.
• Contact window of supply chain for responsible channels, to work with supply chain functions to support forecast & supply & sales order, logistic and warehouse issues.
• Responsible to work with demand planning lead on continuous improvements from process, tool, people
perspectives to achieve key performance indicators, e.g. sales volume, margin, forecast accuracy, DSI, customer satisfactory for department wide etc.

Take responsibility to develop unconstrained and constrained forecast for each cycle including LRP, AOP,
S&OP and also S&OE:
− Collect and validate inputs from relevant functions: sales leader, Marketing, Sales Ops & pricing etc. to
support assumption-based planning.
− Generate by sub-channel by SKU demand plan which is aligned with business strategies & 1-2-3 goals
which is addressable by segment, customer and SKU for short, mid and long-term by adopting effective
methodology and forecasting tools.
− Drive business alignment for specific sub-channels regarding to future demand plan.
− Ensure on-time forecast uploading and data accuracy.

Contact window of supply chain coordinator:
− Coordinate with supply planning on supply plan, check supply status and reshape demand if needed.
− Risk management on sales, make the contingency plan on high-low case.
− Support logistic to continue optimize the network, improve customer service level, control total logistic
cost
− Order tracking, ensue sales recognition.

Take the responsibility to implement improvements:
− Regular review sales performance by pattern/by target segments or by customer. Provide data insights
on business opportunities and risks for specific channel, customer or SKU to drive business growth.
− Analyze and review forecast accuracy and bias, and identify process enhancements to dive continuous
improvements.
− Involved in functional continuous improvement projects or new initiatives to drive changes.
− Work with demand planning manager to formulate approaches for solving strategic business problems
and taking advantage of new opportunities.
