Job Description

Position Summary


 This position is responsible for management of our existing commercial loan portfolio. The individual assists in servicing business loan relationships and maintaining existing loan files to ensure that they are compliant with Bank policy. This employee will communicate with relationship managers, clients, and third parties, and will perform annual reviews and loan maintenance. This position may also take on supervisory and leadership functions as appropriate. This employee reports to the Credit Administration Manager.


 


A $2,500 signing bonus is offered with this role.

Responsibilities and Duties


• Manage commercial loan portfolio and provide exceptional service.
• Complete annual loan reviews, prepare requests to amend or modify loan documentation, and recommend risk grade changes.
• Complete loan action plan and status reports and projection monitoring reports.
• Obtain updated financials, evidence of insurance, and other items as required per the loan documents.
• Manage tracking item system and monitor compliance with loan covenants.
• Conduct periodic site visits.
• Coordinate preparation for loan reviews and exams and promptly resolve audit exceptions.
• Provide ongoing support and training for other team members.


Qualifications/Abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service. Experience developing banking
relationships.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and performing cash flow analysis.
• Thorough understanding of commercial credit underwriting and loan documentation.
• Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively recommend appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Fiserv System; and Baker Hill
applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and high level of professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively on a team, exhibit flexibility and adaptability, and embrace
collaboration.
• Familiarity with SBA and USDA lending.
• Understanding of applicable Bank regulations (e.g., Reg Z, BSA, etc.).


Experience
• 3-4 years’ experience and minimum of 1 year of successful commercial portfolio experience.
