Job Description

 


Title -  Tutor - Early College Program (CHS) (Internal Only) (SY25-26)                    


              


SALARY:  Per contract. 


 


GENERAL DUTIES:          



  • Provide one-on-one and small group Early College content-specific tutoring and homework support for Chelsea students enrolled in the Early College program.

  • Track and maintain accurate attendance of students attending tutoring sessions and communicate to Early College staff through attendance tracking systems.

  • Assist students with completing college coursework and developing study-skills.

  • Offer guidance on study-skills, time management and academic expectations in a college setting.        


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:                        



  • Licensed teacher, special education licensure preferred; will consider non- licensed professions with experience.

  • Minimum required - bachelor’s degree 

  • U.S. Citizen or Employment Authorization


HOURS:                          



  • Up to 6 hours a week.  Dates and times to be coordinated with the building administrators.
