Description

St. Michael Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education & Art Teacher to serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This position is responsible for delivering engaging instruction in physical education, health, general art, and yearbook. The ideal candidate will foster student growth in creativity, physical wellness, and character while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education, Health, and Art to K–8 students
• Promote fitness, teamwork, creativity, and good sportsmanship
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Lead and organize the school yearbook
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Assess student progress and communicate with families
• Collaborate with staff and participate in school activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain one)
• Experience with children preferred
• Strong organization and classroom management skills
