Salary Range: $78,000-$88,000

 

Summary/Objective

Perform as the primary customer liaison for any quality-related customer concerns and verify the implementation of solutions and/or corrective actions.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze and improve processes
  • Organize people & documents, meet deadlines
  • Aid staff with quality-related programs
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Verify the accuracy of quality reports, records, corrective actions, etc.
  • Ensure the operations of equipment and people from a quality standpoint.
  • Direct auditors and employees in quality matters
  • Provide customer satisfaction
  • Chair meetings and events, arrange and schedule needed resources and training for personnel, order supplies and tools, work closely with quality product auditors and second—and third-party auditors, and Chart and graph audit results
  • Report directly to the Manager on all quality-related items
  • Direct production supervisors to complete new hire training
  • Meet with suppliers, aid supervisors & managers in setting quality objectives for staff, and determining training needs, ensure quality objectives and company policies are met
  • Write monthly summary objectives and written correspondence for all quality issues
  • Write technical bulletins and design improvement programs

Supervisory Responsibility

On-site Quality Auditors and data analysts.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and vehicle production shop and vehicle flow audits.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This position may require overtime.

Travel

Travel is less than 5%

Required Education and Experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Experience with pivot tables, and data analysis

Experience with process improvement

Minimum education and experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong background in ISO standards of quality.

Preferred Education and Experience

Previous audit experience with automobiles.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

 Must be able to obtain a TWIC badge if requested.
