About the Role

As a TAE TAFE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education and training to students enrolled in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Course. 

You will be expected to develop and deliver engaging and innovative learning materials, assess student performance, and provide feedback and support to ensure student success.

 

Key Duties

  • Deliver and assess TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment competencies

  • Fostering a working environment that is respectful to all students and staff

  • Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment

  • Support students to build skills for work in legal environments
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement for the course by being involved with the design, development and validation of its training and assessment resources.

  • Maintaining accurate course and student records according to organisational and regulatory requirements

     

Salary:  $93,058 per annum – $117,998 per annum
Employment Type: continuing
Hours: full time (38 hours per week)
Location: Footscray Nicholson

About You

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about Training and Assessing education and committed to teaching the next generation of VET professionals.

 

You must hold:

  • Recent and relevant industry experience
  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training/TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50211 Diploma of Training, Design and Development/TAE50216 Diploma of Training, Design and Development or its successor
  • Current police check valid within 6 months or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one

 

The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
