POSITION: Intermediate Elementary Intervention Specialist 

LOCATION: Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School

EFFECTIVE: August 3, 2026

SALARY: Starting salary will depend on the candidate's experience and training.   

 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree


• Appropriate Ohio Certification/Licensure- PreK-5 Intervention Specialist or PreK-12 Intervention Specialist Required


• Prior Teaching Experience Preferred


• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work effectively with others         


• Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing 


• Effective, active listening skills         


• Organizational and problem-solving skills


• Basic computer skills and keyboarding skills


• Patience and understanding


• Ability to effectively complete Job Description Duties and Responsibilities

 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intensive


• CPI Trained
