Product Engineer
Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Product Engineer at MACOM Technology Solutions, you
will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful transition of semiconductor
products from design to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional
teams, including design, process engineering, and quality assurance, to
optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous
improvement to meet production goals and maintain product quality.
Responsibilities
- Support RF Test Engineering and Product Engineering teams in the implementation and improvement of production test solutions for new and existing products.
- Assist Manufacturing teams at OSATs and in‑house operations by providing RF engineering support and participating in problem‑solving activities related to production RF and millimeter‑wave testing.
- Participate in cross‑functional engineering activities for new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Perform basic yield analysis and data reviews, and support project team meetings by preparing data, summaries, and presentations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to test readiness, production readiness, and manufacturability.
- Support the collection, organization, and reporting of production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for RF test and assigned programs.
- Document processes, test flows, and engineering findings to support manufacturing consistency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
- BSEE or related degree Engineering. MSEE is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of RF/microwave concepts and semiconductor test methodologies is desired
- Interest in or exposure to wafer probe and/or packaged device testing preferred, but not required.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and clearly communicate technical results.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as JMP, Excel, or similar tools is a plus.
- Exposure to scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JMP scripting) is a plus, but not required.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
