Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking an Asset Planning & Reporting Manager to join a newly established contract within a large, fast-paced transport environment. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to contribute to how planning, reporting, and service coordination are shaped from the beginning.

Reporting to the Account Manager, you will work closely with operational and support teams to guide planning activities, oversee FM Hub coordination, and provide meaningful insights that support day-to-day operations. Your work will help ensure services are delivered smoothly, transparently, and with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is thoughtful, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to bring people, processes, and data together to support positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and guide the day-to-day operations of the FM Hub, including service request coordination and communication 
  • Manage end to end all Asset planning and scheduling activities for Planned  Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) including identifying all corrective maintenance required. Updating of asset database to ensure maintainable assets are correctly captured, maintained and reported.
  • Prepare and share clear, accessible reporting on performance, service levels, and trends 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and understanding of operations 
  • Work closely with teams to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and meaningful 
  • Provide insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency over time 
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment across planning, reporting, and coordination functions 
  • Management of 3 helpdesk operators.

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Degree in business, finance, engineering, data analytics, or a related discipline  
  • Experience in planning, reporting, analytics, or coordination within a service-based or operational environment 
  • Confidence using tools such as Power BI and Excel to present and interpret data 
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g. Maximo) or similar systems 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy 
  • Clear and inclusive communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a calm and organised approach 
  • Staff Management

Desirable:

  • Experience within facilities management, infrastructure, or similar environments 
  • Exposure to process improvement or workflow enhancements 
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) 
  • ASIC clearance (or ability to obtain)
