Varsity Pom Coach

Purpose

To lead and develop a school pom/dance program.  To teach fundamentals of pom and dance and represent the district positively at athletic performances, competitions, and community events.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive dance program that teaches fundamental skills, technique and choreography for sideline performances and competition.
• Promote cooperation and collaboration between spirit teams.
• Develop and lead daily practice plans.

• Supervise and attend all performances at games and school-related events.

  Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Athletic Director and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Experience with Pom/Dance.
• Experience working with students.
