Strategic Planning Analyst (Temporary)

Job Overview: The Strategic Analyst shall have general knowledge of Banking, some analytical skills and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. This position will be responsible for administrative duties, financial analysis, ad-hoc projects, and/or group events. This position provides tremendous learning opportunities of banking industry and potential management exposure.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participates in strategic analysis, research and decision making.
• Build industry/company knowledge and develop strong understanding of financial and operational metric.
• Assists in providing administrative support and coordination to department tasks.
• Drafts meeting minutes, reports, documents and decks in English and Chinese ensuring correct grammar, spelling and style.
• Establishes, Maintains and organizes department logs and files using Excel and related software.
• Communicates and works with other departments to meet deadlines.
• Provides ad-hoc support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred in finance, accounting, or economics.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, including experience handling multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Bank accounting experience or knowledge of GAAP is preferred.
