We’re hiring a Finance Business Partner!

Are you a finance professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and gaining a detailed understanding of business performance and drivers?

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting operational and commercial decision‑making across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at both a strategic and hands‑on level, partnering with Managing Director's and project teams to help secure the organisation’s financial future.

As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll be at the centre of the business…

Working across finance, operations, commercial and project teams, you’ll provide meaningful insight, challenge assumptions, and support strong financial performance. From budgeting and forecasting to project cashflows and post‑project reviews, no two days will be the same.

You’ll also support the Senior Finance Business Partner in financial governance, compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

What We Offer

A competitive package with a strong focus on wellbeing and development:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Health Care Cash Plan
  • Group Personal Pension
  • Health & Wellbeing Programme
  • Company sick pay
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Long Service Awards

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts alongside Managing Director's and business leads
  • Partner with project teams to manage budgets, prepare cashflow forecasts, monitor financial performance and deliver post‑project reviews
  • Support UK cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Ensure operational teams are aware of key financial milestones, including contractual invoicing dates
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support decision‑making across the business
  • Support capital expenditure analysis and financial governance
  • Assist with audit processes and liaison with external auditors and tax advisers when required
  • Maintain strong compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and legal requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and audit processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial scenarios
  • Confident communicator able to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience using Navision or Buildsmart is desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay away when required

Why Join Us?

You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward‑thinking organisation where your input genuinely matters. If you’re proactive, adaptable, and enjoy working closely with the business to drive performance, we’d love to hear from you.
