Position: Food Service Worker (2 positions)

Location: Orchard View Middle School

Reports to: Director of Dining Services

Deadline to apply: May 7, 2026 at 12pm

Position Available: Summer School starting June 15th

Starting Pay: $15.50

 

2 open positions for Food Service Worker for 6 hours a day Monday through Thursday, 8am to 2pm. Dates:  6/11-8/12

 

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

  • Employees in this group assist the first cook with food prep and are able to assume all first cook duties when necessary. They may be cashiers and may be responsible for deposits.

Skills:

  • Required to be able to do first cook duties.
  • Responsible for preparing and cooking secondary food items, sub bar, breakfast duty and service food in accordance with school standards.
  • Responsible for ordering, production, stocking, and inventory of food and necessary supplies as needed. 
  • Required to know how to do dishes, clean-up, and kitchen - cafeteria set-up.
  • Responsible for operating cash register/point of sale device during serving periods.
  • May be responsible for preparing main entrée and satellite food.
  • May be responsible for overseeing kitchen.
