Job Summary
The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach political science courses either online or face-to-face. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching a one-semester state and local politics course.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
political science classes as needed.
program meetings as determined by the program coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
18 graduate hours of Political Science. Graduate degree in related
field.
Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities
culture in the teaching field; skill in delivering required knowledge and
ability to engender learning in students.
to teach online both synchronous and asynchronous.
work with online textbook materials.
activities, participating in a collegial, ethical and responsible manner.
inquiries from students, staff and administration in a timely manner as

Graduate degree in Political Science and experience
with online teaching. Experience with Canvas.
