businesses with talent acquisition. You will serve as a liaison for establishing and
cultivating relationships with, but not limited to, participants, employers, and community
agencies.
Primary Objectives of Position:
The Seasonal Title I Youth WIOA Work Experience Case Manager supports the delivery of
high-quality services for young people ages 14–24 participating in the Workforce Innovation
and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program. This role focuses on determining eligibility,
enrolling participants, coordinating work experience placements, facilitating workshops,
and assisting with ongoing worksite support. The Case Manager helps ensure youth receive
meaningful, career-building opportunities while maintaining full compliance with federal,
state, and local WIOA requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct outreach and assist youth with the WIOA intake process.
• Determine program eligibility in accordance with WIOA Title I Youth regulations.
• Collect, verify, and upload required documentation into the case management
system (e.g., NEworks).
• Complete full enrollment, including service plans, assessments, and barrier
identification.
• Develop and update Individual Service Strategies (ISS) aligned with youth goals.
• Maintain regular communication with participants to monitor progress and address
barriers.
• Document all activities and notes accurately and promptly in the state database.
• Assist with matching eligible youth to appropriate Work Experience opportunities.
• Conduct worksite visits to ensure youth safety, progress, and worksite compliance.
• Serve as a liaison between youth, employers, and the WIOA program team to resolve
concerns.
• Support processing of timesheets and attendance verification, as needed.
• Host and facilitate workshops covering job readiness, career exploration, financial
literacy, work etiquette, and other WIOA-required elements.
• Develop workshop materials or adapt existing curricula to meet participant needs.
• Encourage youth engagement, participation, and completion of program activities.
• Ensure all activities follow federal WIOA guidelines and local program policies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for audits, monitoring, and reporting.
• Assist with tracking performance outcomes related to work experience,
employment, and education.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in
human services, education, social sciences, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with youth or young adults, especially from diverse or
underserved backgrounds.
• Knowledge of WIOA programs helpful but not required; training provided.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance
coverage.
Work Environment & Schedule:
• Seasonal role, estimated time from April 2026- June 30, 2026
• Combination of office, community-based, and worksite fieldwork.
• Some evening or weekend hours may be required based on participant needs
