As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of workers involved in winding or assembly operations. Your leadership will ensure adherence to schedules, achievement of productivity goals, and alignment with company policies. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Supervise all plant and site activities during your shift, assigning duties and ensuring compliance with plant policies and procedures. 
  • Coach and communicate with employees to drive positive changes and continuous improvement, especially in safety practices. 
  • Review production schedules and recommend staffing based on product demand. 
  • Assist in employee selection and training direction. 
  • Develop and review employee performance and development plans to meet quality, productivity, and delivery goals. 
  • Promote a culture of quality, teamwork, and leadership. 
  • Implement process control procedures to maintain quality standards. 
  • Lead by example in enforcing rules, encouraging safe behaviors, and correcting unsafe conditions. 
  • Ensure resources are aligned with plant financial and operational goals. 
  • Provide input on capacity and process capabilities. 
  • Address and resolve departmental labor relations issues. 
  • Ensure employees are mentally and physically prepared for work. 
  • Support diversity initiatives and uphold equal employment opportunity standards 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • A high school diploma (required); post-secondary education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred). 
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Mechanical aptitude, quality assurance background, lean manufacturing experience, and strong leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Willing/able to work 2nd shift
