Level III and Newborn Nursery - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner- South Florida - 12-hour Shifts
Responsibilities:
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU, while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida’s most desirable communities.
Your Role at a Glance
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
- Staffing Model:
- 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
- 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
- 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
- Responsibilities:
- Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU, with a focus on:
