About our Program: Rising Families program will deliver a series of culturally responsive parenting support groups designed to strengthen family functioning and reduce risk factors associated with child welfare and juvenile justice involvement. The program serves families facing complex challenges such as housing instability, substance use, and domestic violence, with a focus on communities disproportionately impacted by these stressors, including Latinx, Asian, and African-ancestry families. Group-based services are tailored by child age range and cultural and linguistic needs to ensure relevance, accessibility, and meaningful engagement. Participants receive structured aftercare supports to reinforce learning, promote continued skill development, and identify emerging needs. Through community-based outreach and relationship-centered engagement, the program builds trust, promotes sustained participation, and fosters lasting peer connections, with the overarching goal of enhancing parenting capacity, family stability, and long-term well-being.
