Job Description
  • Senior Engineer - Quality Engineering, with Finance domain having 6 - 10 years of experience in advanced proficiency in REST API development and testing, ensuring the ability to create, manage, and validate APIs effectively.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in Selenium and Playwright for automation testing, showcasing the capability to design and implement automated test scripts for various web applications.
  • Possess a strong foundation in JUnit and REST Assured for executing and validating test cases, with familiarity in JSON and XML for data interchange formats.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies, actively participating in iterative development processes and contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
  • Experienced in integration testing, validating the interaction between different software modules and services, while maintaining a thorough understanding of automation frameworks.
  • Adept at using continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo to streamline the testing process and ensure seamless deployment cycles.
  • Proficient in using Postman for API testing and JMeter for performance testing, which is critical for evaluating application robustness under load.
  • Holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering or Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering, with certifications such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE) and ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level being preferred.
  • Good to have an understanding of cloud basics to support deployment and management of applications in cloud environments, along with knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
