Summary:
The Paraprofessional - Substitute will provide support to teachers and students in the absence of the regular paraprofessional. This is a substitute position located at District Wide.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with instructional activities under the guidance of the teacher
- Provide individual and small group instruction as directed by the teacher
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support
- Assist with the supervision of students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times
- Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials and classroom resources
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Communicate with the regular paraprofessional and teacher regarding student progress and behavior

Requirements:
- AA degree, Parapro certificate. High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
- Flexibility and willingness to work in different classrooms and with different age groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
