Role Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Corporate Security is primarily responsible for implementing and managing corporate security policies and procedures at Buckeye’s corporate office in Breinigsville, PA, supporting the various needs of field operations, and managing enterprise video, access control, and employee badging systems across the enterprise.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Corporate Responsibilities.
- Serves as systems manager for Buckeye’s enterprise security systems, including employee and contractor badge production, access control systems and access privileges, video monitoring systems, and visitor management systems at all company facilities.
- Assesses and resolves user problems related to security systems to minimize business impact and risk exposure.
- Collaborates with Buckeye’s IT team to ensure that software management and configurations of security systems meets IT security requirements.
- Researches and analyzes security threats that could impact employees, operations, and projects. Identifies and monitors emerging threats to include crime, environmental and political activism, and domestic terrorism.
- Supports Buckeye Engineering in developing standards and recommended practices for physical and electronic security measures.
- Responsible for budgets that are required to maintain existing systems and expand systems to meet future growth and stakeholder needs.
Field Operations.
- Supports field sites in troubleshooting and resolving issues with security systems in order to maintain regulatory compliance and monitoring benefits for safety, security, and operations.
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on security regulations and provides compliance guidance and support to regulated sites.
- In coordination with Legal, Human Resources, and Operations leadership, leads investigations of security incidents at field locations.
- Supports District leadership in developing scopes and soliciting proposals for capital projects.
- Travels periodically to field sites to conduct security audits, investigations, and support technical projects.
Breinigsville, PA Corporate Office.
- Manages building security systems to include employee and visitor access control systems, and the video monitoring system. Responsible for systems maintenance and reliability, supplies, scheduling service support, and testing systems to ensure that they deliver the design benefits.
- Leads local security incident response.
- Serves as the local security lead for Buckeye’s emergency response plan.
- Leads outreach and coordination with local law enforcement.
- Supports HR on terminations of concern & investigations.
- Monitors lobby and parking lots for suspicious activity.
- Periodically serves as a security presence in the lobby during peak traffic periods or during elevated threat conditions.
- Leads periodic security training sessions for local employees.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 5+ years in a corporate security role, ideally in the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
- Special skills: Experience and a comfort level with technology is required. Experience in managing enterprise video and access control systems is strongly preferred.
- Travel Requirements: up to 20%
Certificates & Licenses:
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to professionally engage internal stakeholders at all levels are essential.
- 24/7 availability is required, with extended work hours required occasionally during elevated threat conditions, investigations, and incident response.
