East YMCA of Dane County is looking for Yoga instructors open to starting new and unique classes tailored to your expertise depending on person. Possible options would be Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, or Gentle.

Daytime and Weekend availability preferred. Current available class is Wednesday 10:45am.

Home location, East YMCA, plus would be able to sub and teach in all locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides high quality, safe and motivating instruction; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
• Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
• Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
• Works well independently and on a team.
• Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
• Be available to support fellow instructors by subbing where possible. Teaching is available in all 3 locations.

Position Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Yoga certification and some experience preferred.
