Position Overview

Responsible for performing journey-level work on all water related equipment and fixtures. Is responsible for maintaining all systems related to water supply, waste lines, water heaters, pumps, valves and grease traps. Performs general maintenance on all building and assist other Environmental Service departments when assigned or called upon.     

Qualifications & Job Standards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of plumbing apprenticeship required.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the field of plumbing.
• Strong mechanical ability and aptitude. 
• In depth knowledge in plumbing methods, principles and procedures including related codes, regulations and compliance.
• Experience in water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial and institutional buildings.
