We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educational leader to join our team as the principal of Filer Elementary School. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to create a positive school culture that promotes student learning and well-being.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the school’s educational programs, ensuring alignment with district and state standards.
- Manage daily operations of the school, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and the community.
- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide support for professional development.
- Implement and monitor school-wide initiatives to improve student achievement and address diverse learning needs.
- Ensure a safe and secure school environment that supports the emotional and physical well-being of all students.
- Engage in data-driven decision-making to assess and enhance academic performance and school improvement efforts.
- Represent the school at district meetings, community events, and other relevant forums.
- Stay informed about educational trends, policies, and best practices to continually enhance school operations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education Administration, Leadership, or a related field.
- Valid state administrative credential or certification.
- Minimum of five years of experience in education, with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators and support staff.
- Knowledge of current educational technology and its applications in the classroom.
