Main Responsibilities
- Support YF quote process with regards to feasibility, labour, tool & equipment invest
- Apply Core Manufacturing Process (CMP)
- Provide Manufacturing Feasibility Analysis (DFA/DFM) and support PFMEA on new products
- Apply industrial engineering methods to determine labour requirements (MTM)
- Provide production process and assembly sequencing (process flow chart & VSM) for new programs
- Provide data to perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time), actively strives for best cost solutions
- Create process, tool & equipment specifications according YF standards and make recommendations regarding HSE improvements
- Monitor and steer production equipment build at suppliers within timing, functionality and budget
- Prove equipment capability & R@R performance according quote assumptions
- Work with SD-Teams to complete product launches
- Monitor and audit manufacturing best practices and standards in the plant
- Reports on AME deliverables
- Delivers to more than one technology
Common Requirements
The candidate will be settled in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic or Hungary
Education: Technician or Degree in Engineering (mechanical or industrial)
- OEM, Tier One or Equipment supplier work experience (preferably automotive)
- MS Office skills
- YFIMS/ Lean manufacturing
- Plastics process or assembly experience
- Equipment & tool specification, selection, purchasing and installation and start up
- Reporting on project issues, findings and measures
- Experienced in project work, analytical as well as a hands-on approach
- English and or German language skills
- Open for regular business travelling across the EMEA
