Job Description

General Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for assisting with the planning, organizing and coordinating of the daily operation of the assigned Senior Community Center.

  • Works with the Center Manager in making provisions for the delivery of Meals on Wheels; including assignment of routes to paid and volunteer staff.

  • Assists the Center Manager with the recruitment, orientation, training, support and recognition of all center volunteers.

  • Oversees preparation of food kitchen for operational readiness according to established safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Assists the Center Manager in planning, implementing and promoting center programs and activities.



 


Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.


 


Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred.


 


ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
