The Host or Hostess person is responsible for greeting and seating guests, monitoring guest flow as well as assisting the servers and bartenders as needed. The most important responsibility of this position is the awareness of the front door. Other duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sections in the dining room as guest leave, transporting dishes to the kitchen, and disposing of trash. The host or hostess age requirement is age 16. Requirements of this position include, a friendly, team oriented and energetic disposition, A High School diploma or GED is preferred, as is experience and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
