Overview:

Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking an Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine.

 

This person will deliver medical care to patients in a hospital setting and may be involved with the clinical rating of students/residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with Nursing, office staff, administration in patient care.
• Collaborate with peers, and support staff.
• Participate in academic/clinical/research activates as needed.
• Participate in education evaluations and career development of students, residents, fellow, and staff.
• Participate in committees as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications and Skills: MD, DO, MB, or MBBA, State of VA license

Preferred Qualifications: Previous work in an academic/teaching setting.
