    POSITION:  Substitute Teacher (Grades PreK-12)
     
    DESCRIPTION: Onamia Public Schools is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in becoming a substitute teacher in our district.  We will consider individuals who hold a short call sub license through the MN Department of Education.
     
    SHORT CALL SUB PROTOCOL: If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a two-year Short Call Substitute teacher license through The Minnesota Department of Education: http://education.state.mn.us/MDE/EdExc/Licen/index.html
    One item in the application check list is the District Verification form which requires the hiring district's signature of approval.
     
    REQUIREMENTS: Minnesota teacher licensure or short call substitute licensure required.  Must pass criminal background check.
     
    SALARY: $155 for a full day
