Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers is growing our Events & Experiences team, and we’re looking for energetic, hospitality-driven individuals who love spirits, people, and creating memorable moments.
As a Part-Time Event & Experience Team Member, you’ll play an essential role in bringing the Dillon’s brand to life both on-site at our distillery and out in the community. You’ll help execute our signature guest experiences, and represent Dillon’s at markets, festivals, and offsite event.
What You’ll Do
Event & Experience Execution
- Set up, host, and lead our Craft Your Own Gin and cocktail‑making experiences, ensuring every guest leaves inspired and delighted.

- Ensure safety and compliance in production-adjacent areas during tours.
- Encourage and report retail purchases after experiences and tours.
- Support store staff with meeting sales goals set by management.
- Promote Sipping Society sign-ups, email capture, and upcoming events.
Brand Representation
- Act as a Dillon’s brand ambassador at offsite events alongside the Events Coordinator.
- Engage warmly and professionally with guests, partners, and vendors while representing our story, our craft, and our spirits.
Retail & Guest Support
- Be trained on Dillon’s spirits, production processes, and tour information.
- Provide support in our retail store on an as‑needed basis, offering exceptional guest service and product knowledge.
- Lead engaging distillery tours: production overview, grain-to-glass storytelling, explaining our unique process, and tasting education.
- Tailor tour depth for audience type (enthusiasts, newcomers).
What You Bring
- Hospitality or customer service experience — you know how to make guests feel welcome, informed, and taken care of.
- An upbeat, people‑first attitude and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Interest in cocktails and spirits — experience is an asset, but not required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about the Dillon’s way.
- Smart Serve Ontario certification (required before start date).
- Comfort working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends depending on event schedules.
- Ability to lift and move event materials (typical event setup requirements).
What We Offer
- Comprehensive training on our spirits, brand story, and guest experience standards.
- A dynamic, fun, and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities to grow within a unique craft spirits setting.
- A chance to be part of a team that values creativity, authenticity, and great hospitality.
- Staff discounts on spirits/merchandise. (25%)
- $20/hour
