Intern – Field Operations Schedule: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, may vary

What You'll Do
Join the Field Operations team performing semi-skilled labor as required to which employee is assigned, using hand tools, assists in data collection, tracking, and developing report on various environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in stormwater field investigations, mapping, and facility inspections
- Assists in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures
- Assists with field mapping, and GIS utility infrastructure mapping
- Assists with general research, data tracking systems, filing systems
- Assists with public outreach events, education, communication, and marketing for stormwater pollution prevention
- Assists with Stormwater Quality Management Plan update and compliance tracking
What You Bring | Education & Experience
- Applicants must be enrolled at a college, university, or pursuing requirements for a degree program in environmental science, biology, public health or closely related field or are a recent graduate from a related program
- Ability to understand work processes, methods and use of equipment and machinery
- Must be at least 18 years old
Work Environment
This is an active outdoor role involving standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working in heat, cold, dust, and noise. Safety procedures and equipment are provided.
