Job Description

The Model N Hi-Tech (HT) team is looking for candidates with strong BA and QA experience who will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. The incumbent is expected to create functional requirement specifications, Analyse and elicit requirements, assist in quality assurance testing, and help train end-users of the application. He should also be able to analyse, write test standards and procedures & document test results. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

He should also be able to analyse, write test standards and procedures & document test results. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in implementations of Model N systems as a member of the Professional Services BA/QA Team.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Participate in performing gap analysis between system and requirements.
  • Assist customers with understanding the system.
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products.
  • Formulate test scenarios, test cases and participate in testing the requirements
  • Issue Management and tracking test script lifecycle in Jira
  • Lead daily/weekly calls with onshore and offshore team members and guide the team
  • Work with key business units to identify, diagnose, and solve existing process and system issues
  • Provide application support and business analysis for new and existing systems
  • Facilitate tactical planning and strategic development of process and procedures during project implementation.
  • Author and peer review test scripts for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Identified, tracked, and resolved issues, acting as first point of contact for functional clarifications


    • Job Qualification
  • 8+ years of experience with business process modelling and process improvement is desired.
  • Experience with enterprise software (SAP, Siebel, Oracle, etc.) implementations is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of databases, application servers, Java. Programming experience is not required.
  • Knowledge on Jira and Linux will be added advantage.
  • Experience with other scripting language such as JavaScript. will qualify for consideration.
  • Strong SQL experience in data validation for the correctness of analytics applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on technically complex projects project with aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience in testing software in an Agile development environment and continuous integration is highly desired.
  • BE/BTech or ME/MTech Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
