Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mobile equipment.

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or replacements as required.

  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

  • Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Redpath policies and procedures.

  • Identify and actively manage potential risks.

Qualifications

  • Auto Electrical Trade Qualification

  • Experience working with heavy mobile mining equipment (underground preferred but not essential)

  • current CPR certificate (HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR)

  • working at heights SOA

  • strong fault finding & diagnostic skills

  • Air conditioning licence (preferred)

  • Valid manual driver's licence

  • A positive, proactive attitude aligned with Redpath's motto: "Consider it done - safely."
