Job Description

Location: Quincy, IL
Pay Range: $16.12 – $24.18 Hourly | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: PRN (as needed, Monday – Friday daytime hours) 

About the Role:

The Physical Therapy Tech supports the Physical Therapy team by assisting patients with exercises, preparing and cleaning treatment areas, monitoring patient activities, and helping licensed staff carry out daily therapy operations. This role plays an important part in creating a safe, positive, and efficient environment for patient rehabilitation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by licensed therapy staff.

  • Prepare, clean, and organize treatment areas and equipment.

  • Support therapists by supervising patients during exercises and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

  • Help with patient flow by setting up treatment spaces and assisting with transitions between exercises.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, encouraging environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to assist patients with physical tasks safely and comfortably.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis.
