The Clinical Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for clinical and healthcare professionals across multiple specialties (e.g., Breast Imaging and Fertility). This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified talent in a timely and compliant manner. Responsibilities include managing requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, proactively building strong candidate pipelines, and delivering a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring leaders while meeting established recruiting metrics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

 

This role requires a strategic partner who can navigate the competitive healthcare market, build robust talent pipelines, and ensure seamless candidate experience while maintaining compliance with medical credentialing standards.


Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage assigned requisitions from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Conduct intake meetings to understand role requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Screen candidates to assess qualifications, clinical experience, and role fit.
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate timely feedback and decision-making.
  • Prepare and extend offers in alignment with compensation guidelines.

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
  • Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and future openings.
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies to support hard-to-fill roles.
  • Track and document sourcing activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Hiring Manager Partnership & Communication

  • Provide regular status updates on requisitions, pipelines, and risks.
  • Advise hiring managers on healthcare labor market conditions, talent availability, and recruiting best practices.
  • Escalate challenges (e.g., compensation alignment, credentialing delays, pipeline gaps) in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional, solution-oriented communication with stakeholders.

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver timely, respectful communication throughout the recruiting process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding handoff.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries within established service-level expectations.
  • Support employer branding and candidate engagement efforts.

Process & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the ATS.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and recruiting procedures.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of recruiting processes and tools.

Additional Job Functions:

  • Attends periodic training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, specifically within the healthcare or clinical sector.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical licensing, credentialing, and certification requirements.
  • Experience recruiting in high-volume healthcare environments, required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively engage with all levels of the organization and internal/external candidates.
  • Proven ability to build strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers and clinical leadership.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; experience using Applicant Tracking Systems required (iCIMS preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop creative recruiting solutions
  • Strong networking and sourcing skills within the healthcare market.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid work setting.
