Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)
About the Role:
The Medical Assistant – Pain Management supports providers in delivering care to patients managing acute and chronic pain conditions. This role assists with clinical procedures, patient coordination, and ensuring a smooth care experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history
Assist providers with pain management procedures and treatments
Support medication workflows, including prior authorizations and documentation
Coordinate referrals, imaging, and follow-up care
Educate patients on treatment plans and next steps as directed
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
Previous clinical experience preferred, especially in a procedural or specialty setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and patient care skills
